| |  I have a problem can anyone help plz?
Whenever I try and connect my 350d up to my laptop It never recognizes that its connected so I cant edit or upload them... Can anyone help??... |

Can anyone help??... | I dont think i have ever used the download from the camera leads - pros have advised me that overdoing this can shorten the life of the camera - id suggest that you get a cf card reader (£8 from jessops) and use that to download the memory card - when conected to a usb port the card reader will come up as an "drive with removable disk" (generally E: of F: ) in the my computer menu.

the only discs i have in the box are an instructions maual disc and an arcsoft photo studio disc |

Have you tried using the hardware manager and connecting the camera while its searching for new hardware?
Assuming you have used the usb port before, if not might be worth well checking that the i/o is assigned correctly.
Also when its connected (not a normal method) but try turning the camera off and on. |

If its a plug and play its assumed that it will work with ,ost windows drivers other wise try searching the manufacturer/model type on google. You may come up with a downloadable driver |

Thanks every one I think I'll get a card reader from jessops as I've probably lost the driver cd and cant find one anywhere on google |
