| | | Re: photographing birds in flight - advice sheet If I may say so, the last two posts are fine examples of what makes this such a fantastic website - here we have two very experienced wildlife photographers (and no doubt busy guys) who are prepared to put in some time and effort to help those of us (and I speak only for myself here ) still struggling near the bottom of the photographic learning curve. Thanks Kev and Pete (eeyore) for this and for all your help and advice to date.

| | | Re: photographing birds in flight - advice sheet thanks for the kind words jeff - I'm sure you would do the same if positions were reversed
Mandy , Goosey , and nightshade you have now been added to the list
The sheet should go out on sunday , assuming the pdf creator functions as advertised - apart from that i just need my old dear to shoot a few pics of me strutting my funky stuff demonstrating the different positions you can use to hold the camera - Just realised that that paragraph reffers to "the pictures below" but there arent any

| | | Re: photographing birds in flight - advice sheet apologies for the delay to all those who are waiting for this sheet - the pdf creator download is refusing to work on my computer - we haveone at work so i wil take the document in and run it through that asap - unfortunately the number of wind thrown trees i have to deal with means it may be a few days before i get back to the office

Yuo can create your own pdf from Word using Cutepdf
which is a think free - it installs as a printer and makes
the pdf for you.
Also you can reduce size of Word files that have photos
in them (which even if imported jpeg, Word converts
internally to bmp).
When you save the file, to alt f, save, and then click
tools and compress pictures and it will save only
enough quality for the printing level you define.
Obscure but useful !!
Can reduce files by factor of at least 5 if several
pictures. |
