| | Copyright HI can anyone tell me how you get the copyright sign ie the circle with the c inside to use on CS2 i have lookedin my book for CS2 and it saysnearly all typefaces will produce a copyright symbol if you type ctrl alt c and i have tried this but it does not work, any ideas ? |

Hold down the ALT key and type 0169 on the numerical keypad(the numbers on the righthand end of the keyboard).

sweet , i never knew that - i've been using a copyright circle i drew by hand and photographed - imported as a layer and flattened - your way will be much less faff
does this method work in elements as well ?

Another way of inserting symbols/accented letters etc. is to use the character map. Go start menu, accessories, system tools and then select character map. From there you can copy and paste into your documents. |

| | | Re: Copyright On a laptop you should see another set of numbers arranged on your key pad. Mine are on the 7 key-0 key, u key-o key, j key-l key & on the m key. This is the equivalent to the numeric keypad on a desktop keyboard. To use these keys you need to press the function button (fn- bottom left) & the number lock button (NumLk- top right). You can now use the numeric keypad & get all these lovely symbols. As all ready stated the copyright symbol is accessed by holding down the alt key & typing 0169.
