| | | Re: DSLR or Fixed super zoom well I ummed and ahed. I read so many reviews my head hurts. I reconsidered dSLR and eventually plumped for the Panasonic FZ50.
I don't if anyone is interested but it irritates the hell out of me when someone asks for advice and you never find out what they did!! |

Always good to hear what decision users come to Pete. Now let's see if you do what I did, that is get an FZ30 and two months later get a DSLR!! |

I think Matt took that shot at Attenborough, there were some weird flies at that time, millions of the things. I've forgotten their name. |

I currently use the FZ30, the 8mp version, and have found the fixed 35-420 lens to be superb. The quality of pic does deteriorate the higher the iso but not so bad you can't use Elements 4/5 to bring to the shot what you want - good luck
