| | | florida One of the most popular problems with travelling abroad is camera equipment.
What do you do with camera equipment that weights up to 10kg?

| | | Re: florida I had no problems travelling to a hotter place, but my boyfriend kept complaining it was too hot, only 32c.
He done most of the driving and kept asking me to remind him to drive on the right hand side of the road. Food was cheap, so we used to pick up kentucy chicken with stir fry.
Everything was going to plan until I had problems with my tooth. Which I had before I left but was told by the dentist in uk that there was nothing wrong.
In pain for 3 days, then decided to go to see the local dentist in bradenton.
Wonderful service, I was back on my feet in a few days. Funny that, because of the amount i ate. with the tooth ache i had lost half a stone...lol.
Didn't get as much pictures as we had hoped only a few thousand.
But I did get Engaged on Bradenton beach at sunset, total shock.
But, I sad yes.

| | | Re: florida congratulations!
i know what you mean when you started this thread, i quite often have to or want to carry alot of equipment but either cant or get really tired quickly! (especially when its hot). im mastering taking what i need first, what i want second and then putting a limit on what to take out.

| | | Re: florida yeah not really practical though, im an ecologist and spend most days of the season out in the feild. so its not just camera equipment (ive actually only got a compact camera) but its that, clipboard, binoculas, lunch, waterproofs, gloves, high vis, spare socks, something to drink, basic first aid, the odd tools etc, etc. and there just the basics i may have to carry more job/animal specific items!

yes STUD MUFFIN,
but what if you have been a few times, its okay if you been there once and done that. Don't forget the customs.
Not everyone comes out free willy.
Just a phrase.
My boyfriend wants an angle finder, he finds it difficult to bend all the time,
was in a very nasty car accident. He missed a fox and skided into a tree and had surgery, they put a metal rod in his leg as his bone was fractured.
