| | | bronica etrs....close up i've decided to use my medium format gear for close up photography (better than selling for peanuts)
i would like any ideas on what i could use as an optical bench!!
one idea was to use an old lathe bed .. maybe
i mainly use 50mm reversed onto a 200mm which gives me 4x life but as you know the depth of field is so small...
any advice appreciated |

| | | Re: bronica etrs....close up see if you can find a copy of "focus on nature" about the wildlife films dept at the beeb - the first chapter shows them building an optical bench and should give you some ideas
one top tip it is easier to have the camera stationary and move the platform holding the subject - this is due to the need to eliminate vibration as the camera is almost certainly heavier than the subject.
