Oops! It was Jason Claxton that asked for a photo, not you. Sorry. 
I asked for an I.D. in May "Is this a froghopper?" and it turned out to be a horned tree hopper. That was a first for me too. |

Sometimes scenes that look so good to the eye just can't look as good in an image. We seem to have the ability to subconciously ignore distracting objects around what we're looking at. But this doesn' work in photos, any obvious bits of background or foreground draw attention away and become irritatingly hard to ignore when in a photo. Unless of course you can blur them enough. But that isn't always possible either. |

I agree you spotted the opportunity that is the important thing. Just need to get a bit closer with a long lens and tripod.
