| | | British Wildlife magazine and WAB. Anyone seen the 5 page article in the magazine about web-based natural history recording? WAB has been mentioned several times and there's a reference to WAB address at the end. It seems that some members from the site have made good contributions in supplying data, linked to the shots that they have posted.
I feel that this is an excellent link -up between the site and the very serious part of recording that ultimately contributes to securing the future of some of our British wildlife.
Good on those who have been willing to supply data. And good on WAB for making British wildlife accessible to all.

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. I'm not a regular reader either but will pick up a copy next week.
I managed to get WAB a mention in The Oldie a couple of months back (yeah, I know, showing my age ) in their regular web column but this sounds much better and more focussed on the wildlife.

Excellent magazine for anyone with a real interest in UK natural history. |

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. Thanks aeshna5, I found that out and so I had to console myself . I came home with BBC Wildlife mag (for a walk which caught my eye) and Bird Watching, which I didn't know existed and is like a magazine sent from heaven.
The OH isn't too sure of the benefits of being on WAB so much (no, I can't believe it either ) so I'm going to order / borrow a back issue of British Wildlife so I have proof in black and white, and possibly subscribe too.

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. I had no idea about this magazine but will be subscribing - thanks for making me aware of it
Could you tell me the date of the magazine with the WAB article in please? I've looked at their back issues and the latest one available is Feb 2010 so I'm hoping that if I subscribe now I'll get the latest issue (whatever the date of that is).
Cheers

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. Yes, I spotted it.
Has anyone picked up the WAB mention on the NBN website as being in the top 10 referrals to their site?
I've just had a look for the link but can't find it now. |

Sarah | Yes, back issues only seem to go as far as that date. I'm going to wait and see if it appears.
