| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. My 1st ever copy of BWM arrived yesterday and I am more than pleased with it. Articles are intelligently disussed with a decent smattering of supporting images. Oh, and it smelt lovely when I opened the envelope!
I have a question for WAB'ers with previous issues of this magazine please: Are there any issues which cover the Common Frog (Rana temporaria) in any depth at all please? If you could let me know that would be fab and I will order back-issues.
Many thanks in advance

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. Hi PP
I've just had a quick thumb through my copies going back to Dec 97 and apart from articles on the status of Tree Frogs in Britain, Water Frogs and Bullfrogs in Britain, I can find only two similar articles.
In vol 10 No 5 June 1999 - Predicting the date of frog emergence in Devon
In vol 11 No 6 August 2000 When do frogs emerge from hibernation?
I don't think I've missed any others but I'm sure someone will tell you.
I'm glad you like the magazine. |

| | | Re: British Wildlife magazine and WAB. Agree it's a very good read with lots of stuff worth saving for reference.
One thing that confuses me - why is this in the photography forum when the journal deals with wildlife? |
