| | | unusual use of macro Took these shots today of volucella pellucens,a large hoverfly.While trying to photograph them on bramble flowers,i realised there were far more having aerial territory battles above my head.i zoomed in with the macro lens to get some unusual shots.Not the easiest shots to get because they can move faster than you can believe.  |

I think by unusual he meant by pointing the lens up though and using a macro lens for longer shots...? |
