Boddie, try Staples - Lexar 40x 512mb cf for £9.91 - the 1gb was higher than twice that I recall, so bought 2 and still saved!
Actually, need to get there quick as I think it could be end of line offers - website shows dane-elecs as replacements... |

7 day shop have 1GB for £9.99 plus £3.95 postage of cause. I've got one of their 2GB cheap card, it's a 52X and it's fine. The 2GB are £17.99 plus £3.95 postage. |

Wish I had seen this thread before I went on holiday. I have taken 3+GB of photos in the last 2 weeks and bought a 2GB card at an extortionate price at the airport - the 4GB card would have broken the bank.

I don't need it for my digiscoping as i have enough to cover my needs already and an ordinary card isn't really fast enough for my 30D. I might have some smaller cards you can have as well.

I have a 512 and a couple of 128's you can have but will ordinary cards do you. Don't you need fast speeds?
If they are ok for your needs you can pick them up any time just give us a call.
