| | | learning curve I bought myself a new camera, it is a dslr Nikon D70s, now all I have to do is learn how to fly it!
I am still very pleased with my Minolta Z1(now a 6megapixel Z3 and 12x Optical zoom!) and my go everywhere minolta X20.
I do however still need a 70-300 macro lense, and like the sigma the nikon is a comparable price but no macro, so I am in a quandry. |

| | | Re: learning curve I suppose it depends on your budget but I've just bought the Sigma 150 macro for my Canon 300D and I'm very pleased with it. Heres a crop of the Robin from the Winter Piccies thread: |

I have tried it on my friends Nikon D70 recently and the results were brilliant, from 300mm telephoto right down to 2:1 macro.
The build quality of sigma lenses is excellent.
My advice is get it, you won't be disapointed | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
