| | | Looking for Web building software advice. Hi all,
I'm looking to create my own website and it's been some years (read about 10) since I last did this. I'm after advice on a package I can order that negates the need for any programming / html and has wysiwyg type editing. It doesn't need to be too simplified but preferably has plenty of choice on templates / buttons / active content etc.
I do have my photos hosted at Zenfolio which I'm happy with but my work firewall kills it dead (alot of people at work like to view my pictures) and also would like to be a bit more creative myself and have more control over the sizes the pictures are shown at.
Thanks for any advice.

| | | Re: Looking for Web building software advice. Have a look at Google Sites, it's pretty basic, but has quite a wide choice of templates. The basic package is free, but I think you can buy extra storage. I set up a site for my local Botany Group using Google sites and I've had a lot of positive comments. |

At just £39 it won't stretch the finances too much and comes packaged with a good range of templates.

Fergus Gill (2008 Young Garden Photographer of the Year) & (Veolia Environnement Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009) use this service and my boss does too. I work in University which is very tight on security and I can view it ok. Might be worth a try.

I use Click IT Click-IT - Websites for Photographers - Unlimited Photos its a chargeable service and one I have been using for a year with no problems and it has great technical support. Danny Green and Mark Sission also use this service. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
