Just been reading my copy of Outdoor Photography and came across a photo very similar to this one by pressld2 as one of the runners-up in their Nature in Winter competition. 
Unless there were two of you at the same spot at exactly the same time I must assume you deserve our congratulations - well done Dave.

Dave did mention this at the Regents Park meet, which was most annoying since I tried on a few occasions this winter to get a heron in the snow at Regents!

PS And I also enterred the comp myself, but obviously I wasn't up to scratch once again! |
