| | | Mike Mockler I have just returned from a photographic lecture by Mike Mockler from Dorset titled Tanzania - land of endless space.
It was a fabulous evening. The wildlife photos were exceptional as was the commentary. His love for the wildlife of Tanzania came over so well. By far the best I have seen at my local club. If you have the chance, go see him . |

| | Re: Mike Mockler Hi Chalk,
I know were you saw Mike, he was possibly the most enjoyable speaker we've had at EPS
and I would thoroughly recomend any body that likes the combination of a good speaker and outstanding wildlife pictures.

| | | Re: Mike Mockler We also had Michael Leach the other week. He is a pro photographer working for the BBC etc. It was a very entertaining evening. He did not show many photos of wildlife but his talk was highly enjoyable. A great after dinner speaker. |

The scenery is spectacular, the wildlife is amazing and the people are very friendly. I am so fired with enthusiasm for the country that I am building a web site called Wildlife of Tanzania (it is not live yet). I have posted a few of my photos on Wild About the World.
I would love to go back to Tanzania and I would be very interested in hearing Mike Mockler's lecture. Do you know if he is coming to my area?

Jenny | It's worth checking your County Ornithological society web site to see who their speakers are for the next year. If you are lucky Mike just may be booked. If you are not a member of the society, just ask if you can "try them out" They are all usually good value for money though.
We have had Mike in the past and he is indeed a great photographer.

| | Re: Mike Mockler For anyone interested, Mike leads trips to Tanzania and other places, I have been with him many times to Tanzania and other countries on wildlife trips and can thoroughly recommend them. See his website www.mickemockler. His knowledge of birds and animals is tremendous and there are usually excellent opportunities for photography on his tours. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
