| | | Cheap "hide" - fishing tent from Lidl Lidl's are selling a fishing tent for £12 as a special offer, starting today. Could be a good way of experimenting with a hide without spening lots of money. Well, that's why I've got one, anyway! LIDL |

| | | Re: Cheap "hide" - fishing tent from Lidl haven't tried putting it up yet, but I figure for that price it's worth a go. Looks like it might be OK if you are sitting down, but using a tripod while standing up might not be possible. |

| | | Re: Cheap "hide" - fishing tent from Lidl Just had a look at the site, it would be worth a punt for £11.99, however I have a feeling that it will be made out of material that rustles alot, but it may have its uses! |

Having tried it out, it works best with the lens pointing out at around a 45 degrees angle. It is a little tight with the lens pointing 90 degrees out from the front of the tent. Still not bad for the money though! |

| | | Re: Cheap "hide" - fishing tent from Lidl I notice in the same section they are selling artificial grass! Sorry to digress, but it reminded me of something the double glazing salesman (from Everest) said when he looked out onto our 100 foot garden recently. "Do you hate mowing the grass? We also do articial lawns if you aren't much of a gardener!" Needless to say, I launched into exactly why I thought that was a bad idea....I think he went away with a promise to himself to be a little less glib next time he tries to flog it
