Fabulous footage. Thoroughly enjoyed watching them. I always find it interesting that when you allow seals to approach you, they can be amazingly gentte. Only when people panic and get anxious do seals react more quickly and less predictably. You are obviously very comfortable around the seals and they around you. I will be telling everyone in the seal group about your footage!

Glad you enjoyed the footage.
I am keen to promote how gentle, intelligent and playful seals can be.
There is increasing pressure from various uninformed fishing bodies for a return to seal culls, despite a recent paper from the SMRU indicating that seals take on average <1% of the total stock biomass.
In fact the decline of North Sea fisheries is largely due to over fishing and greed. (mans' not seals!)

Keen watching, more footage to follow and clips from a trip to meet Orca underwater will go on soon (I head for the Arctic circle next Thursday)
