Sorry if I have mistaken you for someone else, Dan, but I recall someone almost went as far as reformatting his hard disk to manage an upload
Keep at it Edge, we would like to see more.
Jenny | I nearly resorted to photocopying the blooming thing and posting it in, in an envelope!!

I've downloaded the program and will try it later, but at first glance it seems pretty good!

| | | Re: First ever image...maybe. I've tried the resize program and I think it works. I've uploaded a shot of bullfinches that I took this morning. The original shot was cropped to about a fifth of its size to give this image, so apologies for the haziness, but it was misty!

Don't see many bullfinches around here. What were they eating? I can't recognise the berries from the photos.

| | | Re: First ever image...maybe. Hi Jenny,
The bullfinches are stuffing themselves with hawthorn berries. We have quite a bit of hedgerow here with lots of hawthorn. Every bush seems to have a resident robin, who tries hard to protect the bush from the flocks of redwings which have just recently arrived. It's amazing to see the little robin doing his best to evict the redwings!
Jon
P.S. here's a robin I prepared earlier! (also taken today) | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
