I had to choose this one - was so happy to get a good shot of a parakeet, lovely blue sky and pink blossom - and he obviously wasn't pleased!

Great idea for a thread but so hard to choose 
I`ll go for my Wren, I usually miss them totally so was very pleased with this, taken in December.

Hard to choose. In the end I've gone for a shot of a Tiger Beetle. The first time I'd ever seen one and we found a huge group of them, all freshly emerged.
