Amazon photography workshop

Hi, I know this isn't exactly UK related, but I live in the UK and wanted to know whether any of you know whether a workshop I am interested in is any good? I have wanted to go to the Amazon for years and I am considering signing up to this workshop (FotoForever), has anyone heard of this workshop, does anyone have any views on the content etc? Any help to make my mind up would be great, thanks, Christy.

Hey there, only just noticed your thread. I was actually looking at going on this trip myself. It does look amazing and its also somewhere I've wanted to go.

With regard to the trip itself, Ive been following Elliott Neep and his photos for a while now and he seems a very talented guy so I would say thats a good aspect. The price seems pretty reasonable for what you get and it has an interesting itinerary too. If I can source enough cash Ill be going myself

Sounds good. Much better to go with an organised trip than trying to find the wildlife yourself! Also safer, seeing as you'll be carrying camera gear worth a years wages to the locals. I spent some time in the jungle in Bolivia. Be prepared, when they say basic, they're gonna mean it!

We had water (from a pump well) but no electricity! An amazing experience I'm sure you'll remember forever. I'm smiling remembering as I write this.

I like the sound of some of your payment going towards nurturing local peruvians talents. In some parts I found locals on us$50 a month So no way they'd get the oportunity otherwise.

If it's right for you, go for it!
