.... but today all I could think of was going outside, heading to some of my favourite haunts and taking photos. I was stuck at my desk and couldn't concentrate on anything else. The light wasn't even that good where I am.

to get my new Tamron 17-50mm, graphics tablet,manfrotto tripod....what a b..er LOL
Then I'll be really itching to get out there

A lovely poetic response from psj. It is a good way of escaping the brick walls without leaving them. Somerset would be a much stronger temptation than my current location of Hertfordshire. I used to deliver parcels around the Quantocks, one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Acher, you lucky thing. I am in the process of saving up for new gear, spent the day making a wish list. Then a shopping list. Budget restrictions mean that the two differ somewhat.

I'm not waiting in for it as it's being delivered to my parents but I'm itching to get my hands on my new (to me) 100 - 400 lens. I'm just hoping it gets here by the weekend so I can get out in the woods with it.

Whoo-hoo the both of you! I can 'hear' the pair of you pacing around listening for the postman

It looks like a lot of us are feeling caged up this month - and its a relief in itself to know that others here are the same - cos I'm all the way up the walls with frustration from bad weather, workmen not coming when they said, appointments not fitting in well - just everything conspiring to keep me stuck here - but the worst is the continuing dull weather - its seemed very dull in Lancs this month?

Sad and grey today.A digger in the paddoc has dug the shrubs away. No robin sits and sings,no long tailed tits on wing.No chaffinch,godfinch,bullfinch,greenfinch rest.Sparrows, dunnock,thrush, all have flown with the rest..psj n.e.somerset....

Did not care about raining all day,went for a two hour walk.Made my day when three deer bounded through the field...psj. n.e.somerset.
