It looks like a lot of us are feeling caged up this month - and its a relief in itself to know that others here are the same - cos I'm all the way up the walls with frustration from bad weather, workmen not coming when they said, appointments not fitting in well - just everything conspiring to keep me stuck here - but the worst is the continuing dull weather - its seemed very dull in Lancs this month?
Pauline | We had a tad of bright light yesterday - later on, but even though the lens etc has come (I was pacing about) it hasn't been fit enough to get out there yet so it's been indoor practice. Not the same though..
I can't wait for a lovely sunny day - even if it's cold with it .

| | | Re: Don't know about you guys... Then the weekend comes and it the weather is so dull my camera will be all but useless. Tried to make the most of it by attempting to persuade the OH that she wants to go out for a walk and promising not to take the camera (she doesn't like coming with me when I have it as we tend not to get far) but it is too dull for her. Oh well, I suppose it is a chance for me to spring clean the hard drive and sort out the pictures I do have.
I hope you've had the opportunity to try the new gear and it is meeting your expectations Mike and Acher.

| | | Re: Don't know about you guys... Went out this morning and the light was very poor but got a couple of passable shots. This afternoon the light was dreadful and I couldn't get a decent shutter speed at f/5.6 with the ISO set to 3200. Typical as a robin posed about 10 foot away from me. Heading for Rye bay nature reserve tomorrow morning and hoping for for some decent light and a bit of wildlife. |

Pauline | Yeah, me too. I temp and just lately the work's been coming thick and fast - which I am grateful for, actually, as my bank account was looking like a disaster area - so I have been in offices all week with only the weekends for getting out and about. Unfortunately the weather has been mostly grey and dingey for the last couple of weeks. Typical January weather.
