Hints/tips for DSLR

Hi guys,

After using my SLR for a few years I've finally got a DSLR Canon 450D. I'm using it in manual mode with my old slr lenses but does anyone have any hints or tips as to how I can take some different/ unusual images?

Hi Jadeyduck,

That's rather a broad question right there - it depends hugely on your interests and abilities. What kind of area are you talking - birds? landscapes? macro?

Perhaps If you narrow it down a bit a few other will pitch some ideas your way.

Providing those lenses will meter the required exposure correctly, manual is the best setting for learning.

I am mainly photographing birds, I do some mammals as well. Will check out those tutorials!
