| | | Midlands Wildlife Photography Group Hi All
If I can muster enough interest I would like to start a Midlands Wildlife Photography Group where we can share ideas and meet up for photo shoots etc.
I have created the group hope you can join.

| | | Re: Midlands Wildlife Photography Group Hi Colin
Thanks for your interest. My thoughts behind this is that there are many photography clubs around and in Northampton we have several photographic club (for my sins Chaiman this year) and a Natural History Society. But neither of these (even the NHS) specialise in nature photography. Wildlife photography has always been a keen subject of mine but I lack practical experience in wildlife photography and want to major on the subject.
So what I was thinking if i can get enough interest we could create a group that can share experiences over the net but also arrange say monthly meets where we can pick a subject meet up an explore the photography aspect.
Early days but we may be able to a midlands photographic group dedicated to wildlife photography who knows where this could all lead.
I would appreciate your thoughts

| | | Re: Midlands Wildlife Photography Group Sounds like a plan, the only concern Northampton is quite away from Derby.
But yes meets at local reserves and the odd meeting along with keeping intouch with the net, is a start.
Regards
Colin

| | | Re: Midlands Wildlife Photography Group An excellent idea Stephen, I dont live that far from you, I live a few miles south of Melton Mowbray and Northampton is only about a 35 minute drive away.
I'm pretty sure I know of others who would be quite keen on this idea. |

| | | Re: Midlands Wildlife Photography Group Sounds like a good idea to me, however I am based in Worcestershire. But still willing to get involved.
I know of three photographers that could do very interesting presentations on this subject. There would be a small charge, however between a group this would amount to a few pounds. http://www.wildaboutwildlife.co.uk

| | | Re: Midlands Wildlife Photography Group I would be interested, having been a member of a photographic society in the past did get a bit bored with a slide show each week. The idea of meeting up and actually taking photographs really does appeal to me.
I live in Birmingham and work in Warwickshire/Worcestershire, happy to share lifts and join in with the fun.
