| | | Re: fliker pro? I used to have a pro account - it's good value imo. These days I use SmugMug.
Don't go near the forums though, unless you like to argue about gear!

| | | Re: fliker pro? I have a flickr pro account which I don't really use much any more, but for £7.50 a year or whatever it is now it's a pretty good value way of backing up your images online, with unlimited size \ space. |

| | | Re: fliker pro? I use mine for backing up a version at least of my images, and as a searchable database of my photos, but mainly for hosting photos for my blog |

| | | Re: fliker pro? Even in the highest quality that Flkr allows, it is not really an adequate backup IMO.
But I too use a pro account. |

| | | Re: fliker pro? I use P base but there is a small annual charge. It is possibly a bit more for the slightly serious photographer although not excessively elitist. And I find it easier to use than Flickr.
As a sample, here are my galleries crustacean's Photo Galleries at pbase.com
But I think the only really successful system for backup of high quality full sized printable files is to burn to a CD/DVD. |
