AOL have just announced that 'The images in this year's Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest are as bold, startling and original as ever.'
They go on to say,
'The annual contest is organised by London's Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife magazine - and the winning pictures are on show at the museum now.'
Andy Rouse is named amongst the winners.

there's a free portfolio of winning and commended images in this month's BBC Wildlife magazine as well. Some fantastic images.

Your link worked fine for me there were some lovely photos.I did like Andy Rouse's photo but I felt so sorry for that poor penguin chick.Nature sometimes seems so cruel when you see that sort of thing but nature is still an awesome thing  |

In the entire competition I was astounded that only one or perhaps two pics were actually taken in the UK, take a look at one of them lol  Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year - Natural History Museum

Andy Rouse wasn't a Winner, though he got two recs. |

Thanks Jaki, back in 2004 I also won the 11-14 year old category with a picture of the Northern Lights.
