BBC Countryfile Photographic Competition

Is anyone going in for the BBC Countryfile Photographic competition this year? I am thinking of giving it a go, if I can get any pics worth sending in.

Yep, I've got a couple for this already.
I decided to be very disciplined and only enter images that I have taken this year.
Its a really broad remit this year so I feel any good image is in with a chance.

Is it complicated to enter can you upload jpeg from the computer like you with WAB or do you have to send prints in by post.

Unfortunately you have to send prints in, which is a real pain: Countryfile photo competition rules. I'll probably still give it a go though.

Cheers VB its a pain..the printer don't work on my computer..
I am away for a while maybe sort something out..

yes im going to give it a go,

ive already got a definate couple to enter,im just hanging on until the last moment incase i take something better

Thanks for the link..

try to downloading it back into the camera and take the card to a print point, and for about 50p you can print it out ,and its usually better resolution than a normal printer!!

I shall probably enter a couple. Pain about the prints rather than upload but maybe they do it to limit the number of entries?

It doesn't mention a print size in the rules so I'll probably send 5 x 7s.

I have no idea how to do that but my son has windows so it easier to send it to him..

Im planning on giving it ago this year got a couple already but hanging on to see if I can get anything better in the mean time (getting a new lens soon lol). Not sure my skills are up there yet but you never know and its good practice for entering other comps in the future.
