It doesn't mention a print size in the rules so I'll probably send 5 x 7s.

I expect that's why they do it, Dave .. it definitely puts me off, probably the 'having to put something in an envelope and stick a stamp on' rather than getting it printed .. I hardly ever do that nowadays! Are you sure about the size? I was going to enter a couple of years back and I'm sure they specified a size .. I could be wrong (and probably am!)

Can't see anything in the rules or elsewhere about size. Suits me, a couple I've got look a lot better A4 than smaller.

I've read through the terms and conditions again and it definitely doesn't specify any size limits which is quite unusual.

However, maybe A4 size would be a better idea - take a look at the BBC Countryfile Magazine page at Enter the 2009 BBC Countryfile Photographic Competition | Countryfile Magazine. The picture of last year's judges shows them looking at predominately A4 or larger pics.

Well spotted, Dave .. and they would need to be sure that the resolution would be ok for a calendar-sized pic, too.

Didn't look as though there was a specified size then, they picked a little'un amongst their fav's.

31,000 entries?!! You'd be pretty chuffed be a finalist

I can't decide which is my favourite out of those, they are all just fab!
