| | | It's Bigma Time !!! Well after weeks of deliberation and reading reviews and talking to people, I've decided to take the plunge and go ahead and order the Bigma.
I hope I won't be disappointed, but looking at the results that other people have posted here, I don't think I will be.
Here's counting down the days to it arrival!!! |

| | | Re: It's Bigma Time !!! Make sure you give it some time to get used to it tho Baron , I was deadly disapointed in my little bigma when I first got it - it takes a while to get used to holding that much glass steady , even on a pod , but I wouldnt be without it now

My first week with the Bigma was a terrible disappointment. As it turned out, it was faulty!
Once I'd had it repaired, I soon got to grips with it and it's a lens that will not disappoint.
Just don't forget to use the strap that comes with the lens, not the camera one. It balances the lens better, plus it's a stronger mount. It's a lens that can be hand held quite sucessfully, A mono-pod or tripod is always a good idea though. |

| | | Re: It's Bigma Time !!! Yep, that's the point of using the lens strap, you have to have the lens bracket fitted to use it. Plus it gives a handy handle to take the weight off your neck whilst walking. |

I'm sure baronsdale won't be dissapointed once he/she has got the hang of the balance of it.
