| | | Third party liability insurance? I've got the chance to use a private estate for photography, which at least means no more dog walkers, but i have to have third party liability insurance to use it. Does anybody know where i can get some, maybe as part of membership of an organisation as i really done want to have to pay a fortune or get business insurance which seems the only other choice? |

I belong to three interest/sport organisations that include third party liabilty with membership to the tune of £5 and £10 million each. Unfortunately neither is involved with photography.
There must be similar arrangements for photographers, otherwise try a broker like Perkins Slade (website) but I think you might be asked for a hefty premium.
Good luck. |

If you are using your gear to make an income at all, this sort of insurance is well worth checking out, as most domestic contents policies do not cover theft, damage etc if your camera equipment is used for income generation / professionally. There are several providers of this type of insurance, each with slightly different types of cover to suit different needs. |

Their insurers will also provide professional indemnity policies for individuals. British Entomological and Natural History Society
