Cotton Buds
Paper Tissues
and a soft cloth,
What do you use with what?
Thanks in advance,

| | | Re: Lens Cleaning Kit, How to use it? I do the following on the rare occasions I clean a lens:
1) I use a soft brush to get rid of any grit.
2) I moisten a lens tissue with the cleaning fluid - I use one by Kodak.
3) I gently swab the lens with the tissue.
4) Using a dry tissue, I gently dry the lens.
5) If the lens is still 'smeary' from the cleaning agent, I breath on the lens to produce a thin film of condensation and dry off - again using a clean tissue.
6) If the lens is still dirty, reapeat 2-5.

I've been doing this for 20 years:
1. Bottle of meths
2. Womens make up sponge
3. Lens tissue
4. Can of air
5. Blow brush
I use the blow brush to clear any dust etc away. Then can of air for the big/stuck/hidden bits of crud.
Get sponge and dip it in meths, wipe the lens/sensor nice and light.
Finish off with lens tissue. First one gets rid of any meths and second to polish glass etc.
Sorry but it works for me ..... Canon would kill me if they found out :-)
