I recently sent the vouchers back to Canon after the purhase of my lenses and extender. I had thought at the time that it was designed to annoy me as I kept having problems with printing off the application form online. I also was antagonised by the fact that you have to literally destroy the boxes to get the barcode off, which I felt, and still do, was unnecessary.
However my account was today credited with 140 quid, less than 2 weeks after sending the vouchers back.

I can also sing the praises on Canon cashback.
Purchase two lenses and a flash and received cheques back 9 days later.
Purchased Canon 580 flash from Hong Kong (grey import), received cashback without any problems, so cost me £160 inc. p&p, massive saving when compared to Jessops £320 price tag.

How do you go about getting hold of the rebate vouchers, and are they applicable to all canon lenses?

No they seem to rotate the type of lens. You have to look on the promotions part of the Canon Europe website

Well unfortunately mine has been six weeks and only after emailing them twice has it started moving. they reckon I will have the money in another 10 days....

It took my a month to get my confirmation email, but i then had the cheque a week later. I was well chuffed. I wonder if they pay out on grey imports so that they can monitor stock sales etc?!
Anyway, hasn't the promo not finished now? Although i'm sure i read somewhere it might have been extended for the 400d bodies?! |

A word of warning. Be careful where you purchase your Canon equipment. One or two well known companies buy the equipment in kits from Canon and then break up the kits to sell individual items. Sometimes shortages in the supply chain make this the only way for the retailer to obtain the kit. In this case a lot of the items come in blank white boxes and there is no cashback from Canon because there is no bar code on the box to send in. |

i dropped tham a line today and unfortunately the promotion finished at the end of june. At the moment there are still a couple of cashback offers, but they only apply to the 400D and a couple of 400D kits | | |
