We are looking for a wildlife photographer to come to Transylvania. We have had a couple of film companies over here to make documentaries but now we need a good still photographer. He or she can be amateur or professional, but we would need to see examples of work in advance. We are looking for someone to photograph bear, wolf, wild boar, deer, lynx and birds of prey. We need someone pretty hardy who can cope with hours of tracking and sitting around in hides. We would offer our services for shared copyright. We would only use photographs for our company website and marketing. The photographer would have copyright to sell photographs in whatever way he or she wishes.
This project will most certainly require more than one trip to encompass all seasons. We envisage each trip to be between 7-10 days. If you would like to involve yourself for one trip only for one of the seasons then we can consider this as part of the overall project.
We would cover the following costs.
1. 4 hour airport transfer from Bucharest international airport to Transylvania.
2. Photographer will be driven by British guide in Land Rover to remote locations in Transylvania escorted by armed ranger. The ranger has extensive knowledge of animal behaviour and location hot spots.
3.Very basic accommodation, clean room with bed, stove,lighting and power points. Long drop toilet and solar shower only.
4. All meals in the field.
Photographer will need to cover costs for:-
1. Flights
2. Insurance
3. Accommodation if you prefer more comfort in a local guest house.
4. Restaurant meals
Photographer would also be required to provide all their own photography equipment. Static hides will be provided as can be seen on our company video clip below.
