So you know for a FACT that ATL WAS used to justify etc? That's what you are saying, though you cannot possibly know that to be true.

That also implies that the arresting officers had prior knowledge that the suspect was a local artist. There is also nothing I have seen so far to suggest this is the case.


PLEASE stop quoting things as Facts, when you know no such thing. That merely amounts to fantasy or mischief making.

Please everyone note this statement from the Right Honourable Simon Hughes MP.

Particularly note the order of the words in "anti-terrorism legislation was used to justify arresting and searching a local artist".

Note that in reality the suspect was first searched, and THEN arrested following the discovery of an offensive weapon. He was not, as Simon Hughes implies, arrested and then searched.

Kind of subtle, I know, but you need to watch out for this propaganda.
