Unfortunately this chap was a bit of a distance away so had to add a 2x tc to my 500mm. More of a record shot than decent pic but now I know where he lives I'll be back!

Had my tripod head screwed tight down and used the mirror lock up with a remote trigger.
Really shows the degredation to the image quality with that tc. Only gonna use it as a last resort! I've a 1.4x that works fine so will stick to that!
