Wow! What a beautiful set Dave. So do you think it just takes the right light to get sharp and light images like you've shown?

Thanks Nick. I think the light was a significant factor but I also think Jon's right about the contrast. Without the snow I think the AF may have struggled much more, particularly with the wren and the reed bunting.The next time we have a bright sunny day without lying snow I'll give it another try and report back.
