| | | everything comes together at last! Well finally! Great light today and I heard Waxwings were three miles down the road! With the other half working (i should have been too really!) I took off on foot expecting to find the usual "you've missed them by minutes" routine but they were there 20+ at least.
Never seen them before but they are beautiful birds!
Not sure how much longer they'll be around though.
regards.

| | | Re: everything comes together at last! Thanks for the comments. Just joined up to a bird news update site and it paid off straight away.
They were at the bottom of street, in a really busy built up area. I would never have found them!
When I first started my photographic hobby no one ever warned me it could be this obsessive. I even dream about wildlife photography now!
(p.s. if anyone asks, I was ill and not taking pictures!)
happy snapping!

They've been reported several times close to me but I haven't managed to see them yet.

The great thing about waxwings is that they are fun to watch.

Dave P. | They were reported in a car park in Lakeside most of last week but I new if I got the bus there they would have left!
