It gets a good rating and great praise on many web sites. Some goods deals are available at around £660 to £690. Worth a look!

I'm not in a rush so I can put some more thought into it. | I would have said for the type of stuff you do the 100-400 would be ideal (or the bigma) , the 400 prime is a great lens but if you dont also own shorter lenses you may find that there are many occasions which you dont have a lens to cover. If you do decide to buy prime long glass I would suggest that you also look at the canon 70-300IS (around 300 notes) to cover other eventualities.
