Hi Peter, I have an Olympus E500 and use a Sigma 55-200mm lens. I don't have any experience of the Olympus 50-200mm lens but would assume it to be a reasonable lens. I intend getting the Sigma 50-500mm lens when it becomes available with the Olympus mount.
I have had the E500 for around four months now and I am very pleased with it.
