Dave P. | I would certainly be up for it Dave but it would have to be a weekday for me as I'm working the next few weekends and it does get incredibly crowded at weekends. I work a four days on four days off system.
It was a Wednesday when Ben and I were there and it was pretty crowded then.

Dave P. | Well thats a grand idea - but its our one weekend in 7 off now - tomorrow and Sunday and we've already got arrangements for those - then of course if will be Fri Sat off 15/16th then Thurs Fri 27/28th and so on until the Sat Sun again straight after Boxing Day (when we are both working!) so could be complicated and I wouldn't like to leave Roger out this time as he missed Priory and we missed him!

If I've counted the days right Pauline will be off but I'm not sure if your work pattern will coincide. It's not usually too difficult for me to get a day off so if that's no good I can probably make an alternative date.
Sorry Richard, but weekdays are looking favourite between now and Christmas.

Dave P. | 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th December I'm off so any of those days would be fine with me Dave

| | | re: Donna Nook access ! Could I nudge in here and give a gentle plug for people to go and have a look at my pics that I took at Donna Nook last year? They're at Seals (and a few birds), Lincolnshire - a set on Flickr They're best viewed as a slideshow and make sure that when it starts the "Embiggen small things to fill the screen" checkbox is turned off in the 'options' menu that appears at the top right if you move the mouse. For some reason the folks at Flickr seem to think that blowing something up to fill the screen makes it look better, this isn't what I wanted and seems to be set as default.
They've been on there a while and I've not had a single comment I feel a little unloved as a result but would like just to show that it's a fantastic place and full of other wildlife too, such as the Sanderlings I've photo'd. There's quite a bit of landscape photography potential too if you go on a nice day as the blue of the water really shines out in the low light of a cold winter's day (it was -1 for most of the day I was there - don't be fooled by the blue skies!).
Thanks guys and girls!
P.S. Having read the rules I've made sure that I put a link back to WAB on my Flickr frontpage!

If I've worked Pauline and Ian's schedule out right they'll be off on the 9th and 10th. I'd prefer the 10th as I'm planning on going to the Nikon show at Olympia on the 9th.
I've had a look at the tides and low water is at about ten past nine in the morning and high tide is at three-thirty in the afternoon. It's about a three hour drive for me so if I drop my son at school and come straight up I should be there by midday (or I could switch to "nasty dad" mode and make him get the bus, then I could be there much earlier).
