reflected glory

I redicovered an old friend,the lastolite reflector,this was recommended many years ago for soft filling of shadows when taking portraits etc.
(I had been making do with sheets of A4 or white-card from packaging)
It is a clever little fabric covered sprung hoop,white one side silver/gold on the other (there are other combinations) in its pouch 10cm, opened 30cm,just right for throwing a little light on the subject or deflecting a breeze from a flower or insect
If you have never tried a reflector before use white-card folded into a fan shape (easy to carry easy to store),open it out when you need it, the corrugations keep it stiff enough to prop up leaving both hands free try it
