| | | I'm so excited! I take my photos for my own pleasure and the hours of enjoyment walking miles to get them but I must admit to being very excited as I have just had a message to say that one of my deer photos has been accepted for a publication!!
Someone asked me about 6 weeks ago if they could use it for an article they were writing for Countryman Magazine and they have just told me it has been accepted for publication next May/June and they have agreed to credit me and pay me to use the photo I had forgotten all about the request and so it was a lovely surprise
It a fantastic feeling that one of my photos will be in print and does that make me a professional now Its only one photo I know but golly it has made my day its so nice to have some good news

| | | Re: I'm so excited! Congratulations Linda know how you feel whilst I lived in Cornwall I did some photography work along with detailed walks for the local monthly mag Cornwall Today it does feel great to get paid and see your work in a mag or paper.
Congraulations again

| | | Re: I'm so excited! Well done Linda. I rate that BETTER than just being a boring professional. You didn't even have to try and sell it, they came to you!
Out of interest, which shot was it? |

| | | Re: I'm so excited! Thank you everyone I am still 'flying high' and although I know there are lots of people on here so much better at photography and had loads printed this is a first for me and as Graham has said I would never have dreamt of sending my photos for print so its lovely that someone contacted me.
Its a good way of selling the magazine because all my family will buy one now
This is the photo - it was taken on a really wet dreary day
