| | | My first Photo Exhibition! I know this probably sounds really pretentious (and the thought of it still makes me cringe ) but this coming weekend I'm holding my first solo Wildlife & Landscape Photo Exhibition .
The landowner of the site where our local Kingfishers nest came up with the idea and has kindly offered to host the exhibition at one of the golf courses he owns. He's been very encouraging and after seeing some of this year's photos of our local breeding Kingfishers and Barn Owls he seems to think my work is worthy of display to a wider audience - I only hope he's right!!
The basic idea is to encourage more interest in conserving our local wildlife and I've managed to put together a collection of 55 - 60 reasonable quality mounted A4 prints with about 1/3rd being K/Fs and B/Os and the rest made up of other birds, mammals, snakes, butterflies and dragonflies, etc plus a few of my better landscape shots from the local area and elsewhere around the UK.
I'm pleased to say the idea seems to have been very well received in the local area and the exhibition will run for just over a week so I'm hoping for a reasonable attendance.
I'll let you all know how it goes and if anyone wants more details please just pm me.

| | | Re: My first Photo Exhibition! Well from what I've seen of your photographs on here Jeff, plus your knowledge of the subject I would say your work is well worthy of a wider audience.
I'm sure it will go down well and I wish you every success with it.

| | | Re: My first Photo Exhibition! Congrats Jeff, I hope you have a good day/night. If I were within a reasonable distance I'd be there to have a look.
I came across your Kingfisher stuff very late in the day but found it fascinating nevertheless.
Good luck with the exhibition. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
