Synchronous flying

Took some more shots at 5 fps, C-AF today when a swan drove off Canada Geese. This frame was captured quite by chance.



I wonder what the chances of capturing such an event are?

Hi Peter. Nice shot.

I got this shot of Graylags last year:



They're often in sync but you've got to be in the right spot to get the image!

Thanks Graham,

Most of the frames I have taken up to now have been out of sync. Usually one bird is on the up-beat and other on the down-beat. Love your image of the Graylags - thanks for posting it.

The nearest I got to synchronisation in a photo was with these two kestrels preening-almost but not quite I think
