| | | Panasonic DMC-FZ30 Hi all
I know this is a popular camera on here so thought it would be a good place to start looking for some advice.
I'm just about to upgrade from the FZ30 to full SLR and as such know I am not going to use it much (got too many 'car cameras' apparently!). Does anyone know roughly what the camera would go for second hand, kit as follows:
Panasonic FZ30
Raynox DCR-150
Raynox DCR-250
Olympus TCON-17 zoom lens
Polarising lens
Spare battery
Remote release cord (official Panasonic)
4x 2GB SD cards (Kingston)
Any thoughts/comments/help would be much appreciated.

I have a similar kit from the days before my Pentax K10D (and I still miss some of the features - especially the live view!). I really don't think I gained as much from the upgrade as I thought I would.
Taking account of the current prices of new kit I doubt it would fetch a lot. I decided to keep mine as a standby. You would probably get a lot more for the accessories than the camera itself if you list them separately on the auction website!

| | | Re: Panasonic DMC-FZ30 I'll second what Martin says about splitting the items if you put them up for auction. Always sell individually if the items are worth any decent amount of money.
To find out what your gear is worth use the 'Competed Listings' link on the auction site.

| | | Re: Panasonic DMC-FZ30 Unless you are skint, or need the money for the upgrade, I'd advise on keeping it. You'll struggle to get shots that match it with those Raynox lenses, even with an expensive macro lens.
The only advice I'd give is go Canon |

| | | Re: Panasonic DMC-FZ30 I have a Canon 30D.
Before that, I had just the outfit the you have specified. I kept it all because it is backup, and it is small, light and very flexible for those occasions when you don't want to or can't take your SLR with all its lenses.
I even get my wife to use the camera occasionally.
I would hang on to the gear if at all possible.
