Archive Photos

Can someone give me some assistance, i'm trying to upload some pics to the Archive section but i keeps coming up with an error message saying "filesize exceeds limit". What is the size limit i must conform to and how is best to edit the picture to match the requirements?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jeapesy when you click on the Gallery page go to the top right hand corner & click on the red button that says 'Forum info help FAQS' all the info should be there

As a rough guide for the Archive section, between 800 and 1030 pixels wide. Jpeg around 80-90% compression setting and 96 pixels per inch.

For an image which is well above this I usually consider cropping first, to just leave the most interesting bits. Then resize using your image size menu, which will depend on your software. When doing a considerable decrease I prefer to use the best quality setting.

Just check compression and image size and resize downwards.
