Glad you had a great visit to Mevagissey.
Mousehole is also lovely too.
| Just wanted to say we spent a lovely week in July, Mousehole ( leave your car outside the village and walk in I would say, we were able to admire all the lovely little cottages that way) was one of the places we visited amongst many others! I am a convert to walking a fair distance as a result!!!! (new camera helped ) We will be back to walk the Lizard Peninsula again along with the many other beautiful coastal sites....

Gess | Thanks Gess. Yet another one for my must do list for next year. For those interested see the following link Mousehole, Cornwall
With these suggestions coming, I am going to have a good visit itinerary for next year. Cornwall and Devon have proved to be really interesting places to stay and explore. My wife and I are already looking forward to more trips and may be out again next month in the caravan .

After one hour travelling between car parks we gave up. I am not sure I shall ever return. There are other, better, places to visit which are easier to get to.

Peter | Awww, that's a shame its a beautiful place. Sorry you had problems with the parking. There is a park and ride (train) at Lelant.
We stayed at Ayr holiday park its on the cliff overlooking the Town so parking was not a problem for us. |
