Don't give up yet - I'll have a look and come back to you - probably this (Sunday) evening.

| | | Re: How do I undelete a photo on my camera? The two things I do know about the image are the date and the filename (I know in some systems this gets changed when a file is deleted) so ideally I'd be looking for something that can find the appropriate start of file marker and work from there using the internal pointers. The impression I got with the CONVAR software was that it does a simple sequential sweep through the disk looking for SOF/EOF markers. If like Graham/GLSAMMY you take precautions to ensure that's how your pictures are arranged that will work perfectly. Sadly I need something with an extra layer of logic attached (which usually means paying) so I need something that comes recommended by good experience rather than marketing promises! |

It really shouldn't remove anything else and any photos shold
be recoverable, providing no other photos have been taken.

Thanks for this suggestion. I downloaded the evaluation copy.
It found 202 files (more than last time with PC inspector Smart Recovery)
but still no sign of the missing file (known date/time & filename)
and again there were some undeleted pictures that were deemed non-recoverable
though I suppose some of the latter were impacted by conflicts between file markers? |

I've not tried it myself.
