Be that Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Pentax or Fuji to name but a few. If it's your budget that is the main issue take a look at the secondhand options, Mifsuds, London camera exchange, Jessops, Grays of westminster and the one I always use Warehouseexpress all have an excellent range of secondhand gear at good prices. Some even have warranty with them. Just a quick look on Mifsuds site shows, Nikon D40x with 18-55 lens £299, Nikon 55-200 vr £149, Sigma 70-300 dg £69 or Canon 20d body only £269, Tamron 28-300 dx £129.... There are loads of options to get you rock and rolling.
