| | | Hahnel Remote Control I've recently purchased one of Hahnel's new RF (radio frequency?) Long Distance Wireless Remote Controls.
I was thinking of buying one of Canon's 10 metre extensions for my cable release but when the guy in my local camera shop pointed out that the Hahnel product is wireless, has a 30 metre range and is cheaper than the Canon cable extension I just had to give it a go.
They're brilliant and at less than £40 (or even under £30 on t'internet) I think represent excellent value.
It means I can sit here at my computer with the camera set up on a feeding station down the garden and just fire away from my desk when something interesting turns up - as here:-
See here for more info - Hahnel Innovative Accessories
and if you're in the market for a remote control I'd definitely recommend you check out this product .

| | | Re: Hahnel Remote Control Hi
interesting!
I used to have a similar style infra-red remote for my old manual focus minoltas and it was very handy. Not really considerred one for my canons due to the high price of a couple of hundred quid, so at £40 these seem a real bargain.
Cheers,

| | | Re: Hahnel Remote Control I got a Phottix wireless remote on ebay and a 4 day delivary from Hong Kong.
Unfortunately I cannot remember how much it was but it would not have cost more than 30 notes.

The Hahnel however, operating by radio tranmission, works through walls and with a longer range than the Canon (and at a much cheaper price )
